Baetis Student Variant

The baetis student is an ultra slim dry fly that imitates an emerging or adult blue wing olive. Tricky tailwater fish can’t ignore this pattern and is a favorite in my fly box. You can add some superfine dubbing to increase its floating ability, but in this variant you’ll see a very simple and sparsely tied student.
