The Best Anglers Never Stop Learning
Tying Video
This simple fly can get to the bottom quick and sits hook point up. The chenille tail imitates a worm perfectly wiggling on the bottom. The peacock body gives some depth and profile to the fly while the soft hackle pulses in the current.
Cast near tailing carp with a very subtle presentation. My go to carp fly is a crawfish imitation, this is my second pick. Worm patterns work incredibly well for carp. Don’t strip this fly much as worms don’t swim. Just let it bounce on the bottom or undulate in the current. Remember to strip set!
