Tying Video
This is an easy to tie pattern that just about anyone tying flies should already have the materials needed. Use this fly on spooky bonefish, since it doesn’t have much weight it won’t make much of a splash or noise when hitting the water. The hackle feathers on the back create great movement that entices fish. They may imitate shrimp claws, no one knows, but they sure to attract fish’s attention.
Use this fly when you cant use a heavily weighted fly to spooky bonefish. Fish this fly in the water column, not on the bottom. Use long slow strips to retrieve the fly. Casting into mud clouds is the best way to fish this fly. This keeps the depth of the fly right and keeps it in the strike zone. Remember to strip-set the hook!
