  • Any eyes you have will work
  • Tie with flash in the tail
  • Try tying with a rattle

This fly has great movement in the water thanks to the EP fibers for the head and tail. Having multi-colors adds dimension and realism to the fly. The EP head helps push water and gives the fly an erratic swimming pattern while the flowing tail creates swimming motion.

This fly can be tied to imitate pretty much any baitfish. Fish this fly to imitate whatever baitfish are in your fishery. If you have baitfish near the surface fish this fly on a floating line. If like most of the time your baitfish are found a little deeper below the surface a sink tip line will be necessary to get this fly to the strike zone. Cast near mangroves, structure, and overhangs if you are blind casting. If you are sight casting to cruising fish make sure you lead them enough to get the fly to the right depth before stripping.
