The Best Anglers Never Stop Learning
Tying Video
This is a fly pattern that doesn’t have much room for changes. If you find something that works for you, feel free to let us know!
This is a great all round fly that can be used to imitate a few different bugs that are pretty unique. Wax worms are awesome fish food to begin with, but this also can resemble maggots and if tied in smaller sizes, black fly larvae. If you find a fish that won’t eat this fly, you probably don’t want to catch it in the first place.
This fly works great fished in any situation for freshwater fishing. For warm water, try dropping this off of a panfish popper, or a terrestrial for a great panfish fly. For cool water, this fly works great under a dry fly, or an indicator. Try to get this as dead drifted as possible for best results.
